Happy Valentine’s Day

Love is such a beautiful world...Most of us might be overzealous about this world; after all we are born for this.

Now the Valentine’s Day is around and most of us get nostalgic whenever we pass a shop selling greeting cards, a shop contains gifts in name, a bouquet shop, archies, online ads last but not least posts on Facebook. For all those who are new to this world there need not be any remainder as they will be planning about where to go, what to gift each other on this special day. No wonder if I say, most of couples in this stage will not even sleep without dreaming about how to steel each other on this day. (Poor fellows don't know they are getting into something ...:))
Now comes a different category of fighters--The proposer group
for all those who plan to propose someone this is like an animating day. They feel like this day empowers them to legally say the magical words to their partner and here an extra round of preparation happens like which is a right place to go on a date, what is the right item in the menu to order, what is the best time to propose, right flowers, right chocolate’s, right dress, right gift.... I feel like going back in a time machine when I'm writing this. I will not commit a mistake by forgetting to add about bunch friends connected via sms, calls, whatsapp, social networks just to make sure nothing goes wrong.

And now comes the category, couples which passed the above stage and come to a stage of just tying a knot. I would bet this would be a very special occasion of showing their love and the attention they give to every detail like her/his favorite restaurant, favorite flowers, perfectly planned day… this is to be remembered for the rest of their lives coz they are going to enter a new phase of life

For those who are newly married they are now a couple, it’s a new life it go to be all new to go out as a couple to get a table booked for a candle light dinner with all those blushes to experience the ‘newly married status’.
For those who have well crossed all above would necessarily mean you must be married now for more than a year or two. This stage need not be all that bad coz for those who are lucky would still get red roses and chocolates, and for those who are not might need to be reminded by the bouquet shops, archies, online ads and Facebook.

We all wish life would go like the movie ‘valentine’s day’ where the grandpa cuts roses from garden and places near grandma and she wakes up happy to see them fresh and lovely and grandpa surprises her with a gift, it’s a movie end of the day all that we can’t be we see on a screen so that we know what can make us feel happy.

Why can't we just print CASH?

This question is revolving in my brain since a couple of months. When I looked up for information about this instead of sleeping in office I came to know any country prints CASH equivalent to gold deposits in that Country. WOW!!! I found the answer and left it there. Recently when I was watching a sting operation of ETV I was completely occupied by the illegal business model.

Sting Operation Facts: You can get New notes and Coins from RBI branch, but before that you need to stand in a line at RBI gate. (Just like a person standing for a movie ticket.) And if the security guard is nice he will allow you inside without a bribe. And RBI staff generally sell this new currency back door (Like 500 coins @ 10 RS commission. ) This agent sells it to merchants generally. Who will keep the change in their "dabbas" and sells candy of 1,2,3 Rs saying no Change..

Back to the topic!!!

Okay, now on a serious note RBI does not link gold with Money. Before World War-2 central banks used to match currency with gold and then print equivalent currency. This system does not exist now.

Then ??

Let us see these questions with examples...
Finally, The answer is it increases prices. In layman terms: We produce 10kg of rice every year in a country of 5 People. Each person needs 1 kg. Country gives salary to 5 people as 10Rs that is 2rs each. Now, this 5 people purchase 2 kg each. In case if this Country starts printing 20Rs and gives 4Rs each....??? They still buy 2 kg each but instead of 2rs it becomes 4 Rs. How????
1st 2nd purchased 1-1 kg each. 3 people are there 7 Kgs of Rice is there. Each should have minimum of 1kg. Surplu=4kg. Person 5 wants to purchase extra 2kg and save it for future since he have 2rs more. But everyone has the same.... Fight.. Demand for rice increased since they have money.... but that country still produces 10kg only.

Final  Answer to Initial Question : Solution is not to print more Cash. Solution is to increase production and increase services...(This increases GDP and Economy boosts.)

Is there made for each other? or just Made to order?

When we were in college we would be sitting at the cafĂ© coffe day discussing on all idiotic things of life be it guys, marriage, love and blah blah… we would have a list of things the guy of our choice should have starting from no smoking, no flirting, earn a 7 figure salary, modern, respectable, handsome, caring, loving, helpful, would die for us, talented, software engineer, should like shopping, should have a car…. Phew! let me stop typing the list or some guy who would read this would have got his blood pressure up by now. So that was the kind of aggregated list generally girls would have when they discuss about the ideal guy.
Well the other side of the river is no less green, I mean the list a group of guys would talk would be similar but different in terms of few aspects like say beauty, patience, maintain herself always, independent on all her work (includes shopping), looks after his parents well, not demanding, no nagging, no questions, gel well with everyone, loving, taking care (like nearest comparable - mother), wear a smile no matter what, never argue… ok this stop is for the girls whom I respect reading till here let me save their patience to read further. Ok, so what are we talking here are we deciding in buying a latest television set in the market? Then why do we have a list of features to look out for? I can’t say this is human nature coz our grandparents generation never had this list, atleast not this long to expect of a life partner, well we should accept the fact that they are happy today.
Actually speaking that generation were the greatest risk takers they all had the guts to go for a blind marriage (like our blind dates), and to the surprises of surprises they would survive the marriage till death do them apart.
So what do we have to learn from them? It does not matter whom you marry known or unknown person, it is about what you make out of the person you get in life. Its all about forgiving, teaching, learning, accepting, honesty, trust, understanding and more. But believe me its very very difficult to actually do all those things that I just wrote, if I give you an example it would be that of an overweight person who tries so hard to loose weight but just cant get the results and finally gives up. If I were to argue on the contrary on why it would not work it is because the generation we live in our thinking, our independence, financial security we have, empowerment... all this makes us stronger and makes us think why should we compromise our lives for even few years of adjusting just because once we are old we will maybe still like each other like our grandparents. Why take chances? Why waste our precious time of our life to adjust or compromise?
The modern thinking is a move on attitude which long back used to be the western world thinking, its now all over the world india is no more traditional or stuck to joint families nor a single wife/husband concept for life.
Should we feel proud that we have developed in our thinking and living and call ourselves modern or are we missing out on the values, family concept, importance of relationships that we used to have years back?
what is right? who are we to answer...but all I know is the whole world changes, and this is one such change maybe.. because if we still keep thinking the life when kings and queens ruled life was perfect, then the world never have moved to our government ruled countries. There is nothing like a perfect world, nothing like perfection, everything has to change… so stop making a feature list for living with a person, just live! Because there is no perfect husband/perfect wife.

My Yesterday's Dream!!

Yesterday, when I woke up it was 7 Am. I walked into roads of Delhi and seen a group of young woman fighting for a cause and police started using their lathis on the flock. I immediately moved from that place went into a hotel for breakfast. There was a TV on the upper right corner of the cash counter showing News channels of India. After few minutes I was able to realize the cause and decided to join the ladies.

As soon as I finished my breakfast I joined a crowd which is moving towards Jantar Mantar Observatory. After walking about a kilometer I observed our procession is holding  placards on which were written "Hang the rapists', 'Castrate all men', 'Stone them to death' etc. I believed, slowly I was able to understand the importance of the issue and the need for a protest.

Our procession completed another couple of kilometers and we're crossing a traffic junction. Traffic police stopped traffic till this march moves from that junction. One small girl used all her energy and came into our flock, she is having a dress half torn and holding a plate of coins. She  stopped one of the young lady in the flock and said "Didi, Hungry!!" and further said "Please Didi! Please!".   One after other are passing that girl and finally we moved our of that junction.

Now we reached, Parliament road and now it is a turn of a young woman with a child asking same like the kid and as usual she was ignored since it is a silent march. After few turns we are almost near Jantar Mantar. But Jantar Mantar is already occupied by some other protesters like unemployed and farmers. After sometime all of them understanding  the situation moved away and finally we entered inside. I took a deep breath as we started sitting. One of the young lady next to me asked other do you remember the kid  asking for money and food. Other said, yes and this is the country we live in. Another lady in the back row joined discussion and started saying "its okay we see all such people in Delhi here and there. In fact we see that everywhere in India." Another added "Ignore that,  it is a business for them. Don't dive deep into it. She was not raped! We came for a great cause and a great change. Let us make this successful. "

By this time Sun is high and I shifted to other place where I found shade. Luckily,  there was another   discussion here about  previous protesters fighting for unemployment. One lady added "Yes there was a telecast about this yesterday in news. A young man says, he is holding Master's Degree and ready to work even  as an office Assistant so that he can survive." Now another girl cursed him for speaking such a trivial thing.

Now suddenly every one started running here and there throwing stones. I'm not sure what exactly is happening. In next few minutes, found that there is a lati charge on farmers who started blocking traffic outside Jantar Mantar and its effect came inside too. Finally, even permissions to our procession was canceled at  this place and the flock leader decided to move to another place.

In this way the procession went on and on, with the processionists, who were shouting slogans against rape, being frequently accosted by persons who raised issues other than rape like skyrocketing prices, widespread child malnutrition, largescale farmers suicide, etc, whom they brushed aside with derision and ridicule, saying that you are raising trifling issues when the issue of rape was a matter of life and death for the human race.

After some time  our processionists came across another group of women who had angrily blocked our path. "Please join us" said the processionists, "We are fighting for a common cause". "And what is that cause ?" asked the blockaders. The processionists said "Our cause is that we want people to forget poverty, price rise, healthcare, malnutrition, farmers suicide, etc and declare that the only issue in the world is rape".

"Do you even know the prices of vegetables which are touching the sky ? Do you even know how almost impossible it has become to feed our families ?", asked the blockaders. Some ladies, who appeared to be well fed and well dressed ladies, said "No".

On hearing this the blockaders fell on the processionists with lathis, fisticuffs, etc, and this violance along with a phone call made me to wake up,  and realize I was dreaming

Thanks to a friend for making her first post on a new blog :)
